ReplyDeleteThis article mainly focused on how Rouhani managed to win the presidency, and what kind of work he has to face. It focused on contact with the outside world, working with the hardliners, fixing the economy, and sanctions. Basically he has to redo a lot of the policies in Iran to make good on his promises. To answer the questions, life is similar as before under Rouhani, but it has the promise and hope of change. If he can work with the Supreme Leader and others, he can improve many areas of life, mainly socially and economically. Nothing has changed as yet of his election, other then the fact it was a mandate from the people for change, one that can be followed or ignored. His policies are almost the exact opposites of Ahmadinejad's, with the exception being that he is also an insider of the government, just one that might be able to help bring about change. This article mainly focuses on types of power and leaders, and the economy, in how he was elected and will rule, and how the country will change because of it.
